How I Stumbled Upon the Report

One evening while I was searching the web (I can't remember what I was looking for) the title "Secrets Your Upline Doesn't Want You to Know"grabbed my attention. I clicked on it, particulary because I had recently had a debate with my sponsor about the way our organization did business.

I first got involved with network marketing in 2003. I always believed in the services that I was providing because I had used them plenty of times. But, as I pursued my business, I began to feel discouraged. I mean, I didn't have a huge problem getting customers once I was able to show them the service; the problem was showing them the service! Peaking interest, mentioning my business to any and everyone, and I began to dread the infamous "list". For me, it was something about that darn 3-way call!

I didn't understand why our marketing fliers didn't mention that we were an mlm. And why our flyers didn't say we were looking for people who were interested in having a home-based business. And why we didn't show the amount of value we provided instead of promoting how much money someone could make. And... well I had a growing number of unanswered questions. So anyway I clicked on the link...

The link brought me to a free report called the Seven Great Lies About Network Marketing. This report was a major eye-opener; for the first time I was learning something that went along with what I felt deep down inside. Contacting my warm list, the 3-foot-rule, 3-way calls, conference calls, weekly hotel meetings, and big events...There had to be a better way.

I was always taught that everyone is a prospect because everyone needs our service. But what if they don't feel like they need it? What if they don't feel like being bothered right now? What if they are just not interested?

Am I supposed to present it anyway because afterall it's all a numbers game? Or do I just try my luck because I know we have a good service that even I use? These were a few of the questions that I had about business.

Ann Sieg, author of "The Seven Great Lies of Network Marketing" made me realize that I had a lot of misconceptions about building a business. She opened my eyes to what I was missing the most....

Business Mindset

Ann Sieg taught me that there is truly more than one way to skin a cat! Passing out flyers, the 3-foot rule, private business receptions, 3-way calls, attending all weekly meetings and big events, are fine; but if I wanted to rack in the dough easier and quicker I needed to clear my mind of network marketing myths and open my mind up to business truths. She goes into great detail about the lies that most of us network marketers believe and how those beliefs hinders our business. She helped me to open my mind to new business strategies and how to really build my business. I was so inspired by her report (and with my natural desire to learn) that I even enrolled in an online business training course to learn everything I needed to know about doing business in the 21st century.
